Dental Clinic Open

The SHINE Dental Clinic is still open every Saturday from 9:00AM-12:30PM.  Other health services are currently unavailable.

Important Dates for Fall 2011 - UPDATED

September 5th - Applications Open for New Volunteers
September 10th - Annual BBQ at Boyle McCauley Health Center. All interested volunteers please come out and meet the SHINE executive staff
September 24th - Volunteer Applications Close
September 26th - Applicants will be notified of result of application

October 1st - Volunteer orientation

About

The SHINE Youth Clinic is a health clinic providing FREE services to Edmonton’s underserved youth. We offer medical, dental, physiotherapy, counseling and social services as well as nutritious food and clothing. Health sciences students from the University of Alberta manage and operate the clinic – it is run by youth, for youth!

The clinic operates out of the Boyle McCauley Health Centre on Saturdays from 2-6pm. We offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to anyone under 25 years of age. We welcome youth to use any or all of our services on a drop-in basis at no cost!
